The Maltese Laqam – Rabat’s Perspective (2019)

This research highlights the theory that coining nicknames is intrinsic to human relationships, since throughout history there has been the practice among all races and generations of somehow labelling an individual, family or clan by a nomenclature which identifies them. As has been made clear throughout this book, nicknames have various connotations, fall under different categories, and even serve various purposes, be they negative or positive in nature.

Erbgħin Sena ta’ Storja (2015)

In 1975, Malta’s first football nursery was established, laying the foundation for youth football development in the country. At a time when the game was played on improvised grounds with limited organisation and few formal regulations, the people of Rabat emerged as pioneers, driven by a vision to nurture young talent. This book chronicles the remarkable forty-year journey of the Rabat Ajax Football Nursery, paying tribute to the dedicated individuals who shaped its success, both on the administrative side and on the field. It also acknowledges the trust placed in the nursery by thousands of parents who, over the years, entrusted it with the development of their children.
